Who We Are and What We Do

Theatre/Practice: The Online Journal of the Practice/Production Symposium of the Mid America Theatre Conference

Drawn from work presented at the Practice/Production, Pedagogy, and Playwriting Symposium of the Mid America Theatre Conference, Theatre/Practice is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal created to encourage, recognize, and disseminate rigorous, high-quality scholarship in embodied practice and practice as research in theatre and performance.

Theatre/Practice seeks to publish essays, documentation, dialogues, accounts, and manifestos based on significant firsthand practitioner experiences of acting, directing, design, dramaturgy, playwriting, devising, or another practitioner’s work in those fields.
